A&A: A&A’s Chris Brown and Jada Pinkett-Smith Are “F**k Me” for Being Too Busy, Says Chris Brown
A&AMZ is apologizing for its lack of social media presence after a series of tweets posted during the A&Z Christmas party caused a major controversy.
According to the Huffington Post, which first reported the incident, Brown and fellow guest DJ Jada Pittett-Stampley were reportedly overheard talking about how they “couldn’t handle it,” prompting the host to call them “f**k me.”
The hosts, along with other guests, also allegedly took shots at Rihanna and others during the party, prompting the hashtag #AtheistF***Me to trend across Twitter.
Brown and Pittette were later fired from the show for their comments.
A&: A &AMZ CEO Nick Young said the tweets “were inappropriate, and we regret them.”
In an Instagram post, Young apologized for “any embarrassment” caused by the incident.
“Our intention was to have a fun and festive night at the party.
However, we’ve learned that many of our guests had inappropriate words directed at Rihana and others,” he wrote.
“We apologize to anyone who was offended by our remarks.”
Young has previously said the A &Z team is “working through the fallout.”
The A&AMS Christmas party will be held Dec. 31.
